Training for Workplace Trainers - 2 days

Many organisations recognise that the skills of their staff and volunteers is one of their most valuable assets. By conducting effective workplace training, these skills can be developed in others to the benefit of both the learner and the organisation.

This course is aimed at individuals who are responsible for training others in the workplace, but who may not have had any formal training on how to do this. It offers an insight into the learning process and a chance to practice training skills in a safe and supportive environment.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to

• Identify learning needs in groups and individuals and set learning objectives
• Understand the learning process and how to overcome barriers to effective learning at work
• Plan to deliver effective training in the workplace
• Monitor the success of training
• Give and received constructive feedback evaluating your own instructional skills and techniques
• Write a personal action plan for developing your skills in the future
