Successful Exhibitions and Events - 1 Day

Good planning, imaginative marketing and excellent problem solving skills will all contribute to a successful event. Whatever the scale and nature of your project, this course will give you the key tools to designing, planning, marketing and staying the right side of the law for your event.

Participants will hear about principles that can be applied to everything from a small fundraiser to a major conference.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to

• Understand how to identify their event size and scope including target audience and budgets
• Know where to look for a wide range of venues, suppliers and subcontractors relevant to their event
• Identified possible marketing channels for their event and how to make the most of their marketing budget
• Design an outline project plan and considered how best to responding to changes, problems and delays
• Gain an awareness of the legal and safety implications of organising an event and how to tackle these.
• Write a personal action plan for developing your skills in the future
